YOGA TRAINING
Set in a beautiful tropical garden that inspires tranquility and a deep inward focus, the studio has a purpose built, teak-wood floored, 100sq.m. of yoga teaching space, with every amenity you would expect from a top studio to make your yoga experience rich and enjoyable. The studio is fully equipped with mats and all other props.
Adam’s approach to teaching yoga weaves together mindfulness, breath awareness, anatomical understanding and precision, as well as a deep trust in the natural pace and rhythm of our unfolding. In a spirit of non-violence and self-compassion that is infused with joyfulness and a sense of fun. As Pema Chodron has so beautifully said it: "Watering the seed of Practice with playfulness."
Adam is also a Certified Hakomi Practitioner, reflecting a 14 year involvement with the study and practice of Hakomi mindful self-study -- a journey through mindfulness to wholeness. This is a compassionate method of helping us resolve unnecessary suffering in our lives, to have greater freedom of choice of action, and to be much more happy.
Tentative schedule includes morning workshops in Hakomi and afternoon Yoga workshops. Individual Hakomi sessions can be scheduled if requested.
There is a Meditation Sangha every Thursday evening at 7:30pm at which all are welcome.
